Anne Louise Dudek was born in the US. Dudek was then offered a regular part on House beginning in its fourth season, playing Amber Volakis one of the forty doctors being considered by House, Dr. Gregory House for permanent posts within his team. The character was on the show throughout the entire year before being killed off during the final episode of the series, Heart and Head. In the following episode, she appeared in the episode Saviors of Season 5, as the character who was House's hallucination. She continued to appear as House for the remainder of the series. Dudek later appeared on Big Love and Mad Men in various roles, including Alby Grant's antagonistic husbands, Francine Hanson. Dudek was cast in Covert Affairs as Danielle Brooks, the sister to the protagonist. She was Tiffany Wilson, the cruise-line proprietor on White Chicks (2004 comedy) as well as Anthony Hopkins' daughter in The Human Stain.
